Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Limelit (limelit.xyz). By accessing the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Limelit is a brand-monitoring and content-generation platform for AI search engines. Features include prompt simulation across multiple engines, citation tracking, AI-readiness scanning, and AI-assisted blog drafting.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for the activity on your account. Keep your credentials secure and notify us if anything looks off.

3. Acceptable use

• Don’t use Limelit to monitor brands you don’t represent.
• Don’t scrape, abuse, or attempt to overload the service.
• Don’t use Limelit to generate misleading, defamatory, or illegal content.
• Don’t reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our model weights or prompts.

4. Trial and billing

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access. After the trial, paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime from /settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Content ownership

You own the content you generate with Limelit, including blog drafts. We retain a license to host and serve published content on the public blog routes (e.g. /blog/[property]/[slug]) for as long as you keep it published.

6. AI-generated content

Drafts produced by our AI pipeline are not guaranteed accurate or non-infringing. Review every draft before you publish. You’re responsible for the final content you ship.

7. Service level

We aim for high availability but make no SLA commitments on the trial tier. Paid plans get the SLA outlined in their order form.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Limelit’s total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be announced via email; continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms.
